Gurez, or Gurais, is a valley located in the high Himalayas, about 86 kilometres from Bandipore and 123 kilometres from Srinagar, to the north of the Kashmir valley. At about 2,400 metres above sea level, the valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 :
  • Upon arrival in Srinagar, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Spend the day visiting popular local destinations, including Boulevard Road and Dal Lake. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 :
  • After breakfast, drive towards Gurez Valley via Bandipora and Razdan Top. En route, visit Razdan Pass (11,672 ft) and enjoy the scenic views of the Harmukh Peak. Upon arrival in Gurez, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :
  • Start your day by exploring the local town of Dawar, known for its archaeological significance and log wood houses. Interact with the friendly locals, known as “Dards.” Visit the beautiful Habba Khatoon Peak and Habba Khatoon Spring, famous for its crystal-clear water with medicinal properties. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 :
  • After breakfast, drive to Tulail Valley via Dawar. Enjoy the natural beauty and lush green meadows. Visit the remote villages of Sheikhpura and Chakwali, with Chakwali being the last Indian village on the line of control. Return to Gurez for an overnight stay.
Day 5 :
  • After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar, stopping at Izamrg Village to capture the beauty of the green meadows. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 :
  • After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes.
